FIND (the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics), a non-profit research and development agency in Geneva, has an opening for a scientist or experienced technologist for 3-6 months to work on a malaria diagnostic project at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London.



An individual with analytic skills and experience in common laboratory techniques is sought to assist in quantifying the parasite antigen concentration in the reference materials. This work would take place under the supervision of Dr Peter Chiodini of HTD and LSHTM.



As part of a global effort to improve the quality of malaria diagnostic testing, FIND and WHO are collaborating on an effort to develop a global bank of malaria clinical reference materials to be used in quality control of malaria diagnostic products. They are seeking to fill two full time positions for malaria scientists in Geneva
