Nothing happens without a reason........when the first whiteman came to Africa we called hime an Explorer.....then came Missionaries...and Colonial masters, thats when we Africans started looking for a solution to the disaster remember the Mau Mau of Kenya, Kabalega of Bunyoro and Mwanga of Buganda....what is happening in A whiteman's land today is a reflection of what happened to us.

Look at it this way....An Englishman spends 30years mortgaging a house but then he sees how Afrikans line-up at all money transfer centres( Money gramm, WesternUnion..etc) on a daily basis waiting to send money HOME, dont u think tis calls for a solution just like the MAU MAU?

GOD bless Africa.

Meli, thanks for mentioning a petition. Ugandans have been for a longtime making complaints behind closed doors. If you want to raise important issues, you have to be open and ready for questions. Here is the problem, some people were given wrong advice by their corrupt lawyers, fake immigration advisers to change their origins and names and change for the desired ones like calling themselves Rwandese, Sudanese during and after the genocide. A Rwandan was then paying, now Kagame have done better for himself so those fake Rwandese can no longer fight to stay. Those who managed to get themselves Rwandese status will soon find it difficult to move on as genuine Rwandese and their fellow Ugandans who knows about their alleged status will point them out to the authorities. The Home Office is giving away free phone numbers to shop doggy workers and asylum seekers. Many were given advice to go for HIV tests and they did, but now Museveni is changing colours and with the new ARV drug factory in Kampala, you are put on the next plane. Ugandans mostly those from the south of Uganda thought they were safe not realising they were next. No jobs for them in Uganda today, only those with close connections to the big fish of Uganda can be sure of their future. The few and the NRA UK Chapter members have been promised fat jobs when they go back home. While Ugandans apply for asylum you have failed to raise the issues of our government's safe houses and torture yet you know they exist. Britain thinks Museveni's government is ok as long as he is with them. You have to make the British public and government know exactly what is actualy happening in Uganda. You also know Ugandans who are here on asylum, protected by asylum rules and benefits and yet they are NRM UK presentatives! Museveni calls you Kyeyo people and you clap hands for him, you constanly bragg how your money is doing wonders to the Ugandan government. Isn't it sad? Museveni yalwaana emyaka etaano e Luweero naja mubuyinza mwe nabagoba ewamwe!!! You still go to his conferences in U.K and listen to him, when Kassato confroted him he was instead called the mad man. It is time Ugandans realise that you can't have your cake and eat. You are either an immigrant, asylum seeker, overseas student or any recognised and legal migrant than staying undercover and complain. I hope you put yourself together and put on a good fight.
