n Saturday, 31st. September Union of Uganda held its 4th.General Assembly where
new officials were elected. The following are the minutes of the day....
INDEPENDENCE PARTY (OLD NEWS!)
And then came Uganda's Independence day2006! The Ugandan community in Scandinavia converged on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. Smiling faces and colourful attire were the order of the day.There has never been such a party in Denmark among the Ugandans in the diaspora before in living memory! Entrance to the festivities was FREE. There were tons of food and gallons of BEER, WINE and SPIRITS - all FREE! Then there was an assortment of Ugandan musicians complete with a disco to crown it all..
